Carney the Beaver
Helping Children Make Sense of the World
On the surface, Carney the Beaver is an accessible, engaging picture book. At its core, it is a tool for cultural diplomacy and youth education—an easy introduction to the importance of a rules-based international order and community strength.
The Three Pillars:
The End of "Pleasant Fictions":
Teaching the courage it takes to face reality and stand up when rules are broken by those who think they are "too big" for them.
Strength Through Alliances:
Demonstrating to young readers that we are not powerless when we build community and act together in solidarity.
Building a "Truer" World:
Advocating for the hard work required to build a future where fairness and cooperation replace fear.
