Carney the Beaver

Carney speech from Davos for children

The Mission

"The Cultural Diplomacy Initiative leverages the 'Power of the Small' to translate complex macroeconomic frameworks into accessible fables for a global audience. From the halls of the G20 to the next generation of leaders, we are deploying Canadian soft power to bridge the gap between elite policy and civic literacy, while actively championing Michif language revitalization on the international stage."

Expanding our mission to include Indigenous language revitalizationwe look forward to releasing soon in bilingual:

On the surface, Carney the Beaver is an accessible, engaging picture book. At its core, it is a tool for cultural diplomacy and youth education—an easy introduction to the importance of a rules-based international order and community strength.

The Three Pillars:

The End of "Pleasant Fictions":

Teaching the courage it takes to face reality and stand up when rules are broken by those who think they are "too big" for them.

Strength Through Alliances:

Demonstrating to young readers that we are not powerless when we build community and act together in solidarity.

Building a "Truer" World:

Advocating for the hard work required to build a future where fairness and cooperation replace fear.

Available as French and Japanese bilingual Flip-over books as well.
